Stanley is a true creative, finding truth and inspiration everywhere. He grew up in a large family in Haiti, where island life was simple. Stanley talks about a life where he had few toys, but movies ignited his imagination. His life changed when a friend first showed him a camera, and he realized what was possible creatively with film and still photography. In the years that followed, he became obsessed with the medium. After studying and assisting photographers in the United States, Stanley began to hone his own style and craft.
His love for people and passion for photography led him to study fashion photography in New York City where shooting people became a way for him to "come out of his shell" and make friends in a new country. Stanley is blessed to have worked beside top names in music and fashion. One of his favorite assignments included being the resident photographer and traveling with FUBU founder Daymon John. Stanley has also worked with rap music artists, like Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J, Ludacris, and Nas. Stanley's work also includes women's fashion for the plus size industry including MONIF C and Plus Models Magazine.
Currently, Stanley lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and two beautiful girls. His family is everything to him and they are enjoying a change of pace from the NYC scene. Stanley is excited by the versatility of his new clients, including portrait sessions, family sessions, business branding sessions, and of course, fashion photography. When Stanley is home, he is enjoying the warmth of the people down South; however, he also jumps at any opportunity to travel across the United States for commercial and editorial projects as well.
